Attirée dés son enfance par tous types de genre musical, classique,rock, pop, latin

et par la danse (samba).Très rapidement au lycée elle joue dans un ensemble cuivres et vents, en

tant que clarinettiste, puis se passionne pour les percussions.A l'université , elle se forme à divers

styles de musiques. Elle obtient un diplôme de percussionniste soliste.Après ses études, elle part

travailler à Walt Disney World dans le groupe de percussions japonais . Ils effectue une tournée à

travers les USA.

Actuellement, elle joue du marimba 5 octaves et du vibraphone. Elle se produit en solo, duo, trio et dans des concerts de jazz, rock. Elle fait partie de 2 formations: une de jazz rock fusion « nakanospecial » et un trio associant la voix, le piano et la peinture, « pisca- pisca » à destination des enfants.Elle écrit également des adaptations.

Elle a remporté le prix spécial du « Tokyo International association of artists » en 2016, le 3ème prix du « Yokohama international music compétition ».2016

Shuori is a marimba & vibraphone player from Japan.  

She started to play piano by herself.

 In childhood , she touched a lot of kind of music; classic, jazz, rock, pop, Latin, and she start to dance  Samba since 6 years old. 

In junior-high school, she was in a wind-brass band as a clarinet player but she changed instrument to percussion from high school. In college, she majored in all of percussion at the Tamagawa University Department of Performing Arts. During student-time, she learned many  style of music including contemporary music as well.

She became finalist for a graduation concert as a multi percussion solo player. 

After graduated, she worked at the Walt Disney World in FL, USA for 13 month. At there, she was in Japanese drum team "Matsuri-za" and performed Japanese drum show around the USA.

Nowadays,she is active  on Japanese music scene to build new style of music as a marimba and  viberaphone  player.

Currently, she performs solo and duo or trio(with pf, per), almost at jazz live spots. And she is in two of music bands as a vibraphonist; a jazz-rock fusion instrument band "Nakanospecial" and a trio group "pisca-pisca" (vocal/painter, piano) for children. Also she writes an arrangement any kind of genre.
