Ceux qui auraient encore cru l'accordéon ringard et ont assisté à la prestation de Motion Trio n'avaient plus qu'à revoir leur jugement.  Motion Trio est un trio d’accordéons fondé en 1996 par Janusz Wojtarowicz

Influencé par le rock, le jazz et la musique classique, il crée des dimensions sonores intergalactiques. Après des débuts comme musiciens de rue sur la place du marché de Cracovie, ils conquièrent les scènes internationales, collaborent avec de grands noms tels que Bobby McFerrin et Michael Nyman. Grand Prix du IVe Concours Krzysztof Penderecki, Grand Prix de  «best Polish recording 2000», Top 2000 et le disque de l’année d’après les critiques de Jazzi Magazine, le groupe donne des concerts à travers le monde entier  

Ces trois aventuriers de l'accordéon réinventent l'instrument pour le XXIe siècle.
